As autumn brought warmer days, Suzhou was unexpectedly filled with warmth on November 23, making it the perfect time for an outing. Taking advantage of this pleasant weather, WDF colleagues embarked on this year’s autumn trip, heading toward the orange orchard and Tianping Mountain to begin a full day of energetic autumn activities.

Taking advantage of this pleasant weather, WDF colleagues embarked on this year’s autumn trip, heading toward the orange orchard and Tianping Mountain to begin a full day of energetic autumn activities.
First Stop: The Fragrance of Autumn Oranges
As it was the season when oranges were ripe, everyone arrived at the orange orchard and entered the picking area under the guidance of the orchard owner, starting their own “separate exploration.”
In the orange orchard, everyone could pick and taste oranges freely. Everyone showed their own skills, competing with their eyes and luck. Oranges with different flavors of sweetness and sourness passed from hand to hand, and everyone shared them together, enjoying a natural blind-box tasting experience.
After everyone completed the picking experience, they each carried a bag filled with their own autumn orange fragrance and continued the journey.
Midday Break: Communication and Relaxation Over Farmhouse Cuisine
At lunchtime, the delicious farmhouse dishes allowed everyone to fully relax. While enjoying local specialties, everyone shared recent experiences and interesting stories.
After a short break, we headed toward the main destination of this trip!
Second Stop: Embracing the Red Maple Autumn Scenery
As expected during the red maple season, the crowds at the entrance of Tianping Mountain had already shown its popularity at this time. From outside the scenic area, visitors could already catch a glimpse of its diverse colors, with layers of scenery unfolding before their eyes, waiting for us to explore inside.
After entering the scenic area, everyone was reminded of the safety precautions and gathering time with colleagues once again. Everyone chose different ways to enjoy the visit according to their interests:
- Some challenged themselves to reach the summit, gaining a sense of achievement through their efforts;
- Some strolled along the lakeside, seeking relaxation in the peaceful surroundings;
- Many colleagues also used their photography skills to capture the perfect moments between people and scenery.
No matter which way they chose, everyone found their own relaxation and happiness during this journey.
This autumn outing not only allowed everyone to release stress and enjoy happiness in nature but also brought the team closer together.
