[Competition Event] Quality in Action: WDF Successfully Concludes Its First Quality Knowledge Competition

Learning through competition, improving through learning, and strengthening the foundation of quality management.

Last Friday, WDF officially launched its “First Quality Knowledge Competition.” As an important part of WDF’s “Quality Culture Month” series of activities, this competition aimed to promote the development of the company’s quality culture through an engaging and interactive approach while enhancing employees’ overall quality awareness and professional capabilities. As stated in the company’s quality policy: “Pursuing excellence in quality, exceeding customer expectations” This is not merely a slogan, but the working principle and pursuit goal of every WDF employee.

The competition adopted a team-based format, with the company forming seven participating teams based on departments. Each team consisted of two members, and seating arrangements were determined through a unified drawing process. The competition adopted a team-based format, with the company forming seven participating teams based on departments. Each team consisted of two members, and seating arrangements were determined through a unified drawing process.

The atmosphere at the competition was lively. All participating teams were full of enthusiasm and demonstrated excellent cooperation. Especially during the speed-answer section, the scores kept changing as teams competed closely with each other, and every time the answering buttons were pressed, it created an exciting and tense moment. During the risk-question decision-making stage, the strategic competition among teams was also a major highlight. Throughout the competition, whether it was the quick and accurate answers or the calm and thoughtful analysis, everyone demonstrated solid quality knowledge, good teamwork capabilities, and their emphasis on and commitment to quality management.

The competition eventually came to a successful conclusion. Although some teams stood out and achieved outstanding results, the serious learning attitude and active participation of every participant deserve recognition. Quality improvement is a long-term “company-wide initiative.” While honors are certainly encouraging, the process of participation itself is equally valuable.

We look forward to all employees continuing to maintain their enthusiasm for learning and working together to further enhance WDF’s quality management capabilities.

Quality management has never been the responsibility of a single department or individual. Instead, it is a shared mission that requires participation from functional departments to the production frontline and from every employee. This competition not only enabled departments to learn from each other through communication and exchange but also encouraged employees to proactively study quality knowledge and participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the continuous enhancement of the company’s quality management processes.

Building on this activity, WDF’s pursuit of quality will continue to advance along a clear path: maintaining a high standard of “zero defects” in product quality; continuously improving system development in operational quality and establishing a more standardized and efficient management model; continuously optimizing every operational process, with a commitment to reducing waste and improving overall efficiency. The company will continue to increase investment in quality improvement and build future-oriented core competitiveness in a comprehensive manner, from systems and talent to technology and innovation.
