Yesterday afternoon, WDF prepared a relaxing and warm Women’s Day tea gathering for all female colleagues in the company, allowing everyone to sit together away from the busy work pace, enjoy some refreshments, spend some time together, take a good look at each other’s faces, and listen to each other’s stories.
The First Sweet Taste, Celebrating a Long-Awaited Reunion
On ordinary days, we are at opposite ends of the factory and office buildings, each busy on our own paths, with more communication through system messages and phone calls. Those colleagues who “stay connected but rarely meet” finally sat together at the same table again yesterday. Meanwhile, new colleagues who recently joined the company also took this opportunity to officially meet everyone.
At the beginning of the tea gathering, the company arranged a simple and relaxing activity — introducing the female colleagues from each department.
Everyone shared their experiences over the past year at the company, talked about the team atmosphere and warm support, and shared how the team’s vitality continues to grow with the continuous integration of new members.
Soon, through this simple round of introductions and sharing of workplace experiences, everyone began to open up, and the atmosphere became relaxed and lively.
As the conversation gradually unfolded, the topics extended from work to life:
Some people shared interesting stories from their daily work, while others exchanged small experiences from life. Colleagues who are usually based in different workplaces and responsible for different areas of work finally had the opportunity to chat more with each other.
While chatting and enjoying the prepared tea and refreshments, the entire afternoon atmosphere became relaxed and warm.
In fact, the meaning of Women’s Day may lie exactly in this: allowing us to pause during our busy days and take a look at the shining women around us — they are mothers, wives, daughters, and also partners moving forward together with us in the workplace.
A Gift, A Thoughtful Gesture
Of course, the small surprises of the festival were not absent. The company prepared thoughtful holiday gifts for female colleagues, hoping that while working diligently, everyone would also remember to take good care of themselves. May this gentle care relieve the fatigue of busy days and allow every day to be as relaxed and bright as a spring breeze.
The tea gathering lasted for more than two hours, which was not a long time, but it provided everyone with an opportunity for relaxed communication beyond their busy daily routines. It also brought more familiarity and closeness among colleagues who are usually distributed across different positions.
At WDF, every woman who works diligently shines brightly in her own position.
At the end of the tea gathering, there was also a special activity.
We prepared a small card for each colleague, and everyone wrote down their small goals for the new year — perhaps a breakthrough at work, perhaps expectations for life, or perhaps simply a small habit they hope to develop. After writing, the cards were collected together and quietly preserved.
This is a “future appointment”: At next year’s Women’s Day, we will gather again, open these precious “letters of time” together, and see whether the wishes written at that time have quietly come true~
