SK has upgraded the formulation of ECOZEN T110 Pro.
After this upgrade, the product T110 Pro (H)-2 (hereinafter still referred to as T110 Pro) has improved impact strength and transparency compared with the original T110 Pro version. In addition, performance stability between different batches has been ensured, reducing performance and color differences between batches.
1、Appearance Comparison
Compared with the original T110 Pro, the new version has a brighter and clearer appearance.
There is no bluish or purplish appearance.
2、Performance Comparison
Compared with T110, T110 Pro (H)-2 has excellent durability, impact strength, injection molding performance, and better moisture absorption resistance.
Since its performance is similar to competitive materials (OCR*), the same mold can be directly used without the inconvenience of modifying or replacing molds.
Compared with T110, T110 Pro (H)-2 has physical properties similar to competitive materials (OCR*). Compared with T110, its specific gravity and flexural modulus have changed, while its impact strength has significantly improved.
The molecular weight of T110 Pro (H)-2 is higher than that of T110, but its actual melt viscosity is similar to T110 (see Figure 1). In terms of flowability, T110 Pro (H)-2 is approximately 30% better than competitive materials (see Figure 2).
For processing equipment with different tonnages, T110 Pro (H)-2 has different recommended processing temperatures. The material itself has a relatively narrow processing temperature range, so attention should be paid during actual operation to avoid material carbonization caused by excessive temperature.
Processing Temperature of T110 Pro (H)-2
T110 Pro (H)-2 can be molded using the same molds as competitive materials, while T110 may cause gate sticking and failure to form bottom engraving patterns.
T110 Pro (H)-2 can increase the preform temperature by reducing cooling time, allowing clear bottom markings and continuous production (see Figure 13).
In drop impact tests compared with competitive materials, no damage occurred in either case.
3、Application Fields
With guaranteed performance and transparency stability, the new version of ECOZEN T110 Pro material can be applied to sports bottles, blenders, food containers, and other applications.
